Destinations Currently On My Bucket List

I love traveling to new and exotic places. Unfortunately, I have only been to a small percentage of locations when you put the entire world into a spectrum. Using money as an excuse (because it is a pretty decent one to use), I stop my plans before they even begin. While 2018 draws to a close, I have been thinking of starting a new goal to travel more. I have had a few destinations on my bucket list for years that I am ready to explore finally.

If you are finding it difficult to get up and go like me, remember that you can always find cheaper methods to travel. It shouldn't break the bank. Save a part of each paycheck and go to that destination you have always dreamed of. If you need some new and lust-worthy spots to dream about, I got you covered! Here are my destinations currently on my bucket list that I would love to check off within the next two years. I also wrote an article here about even more bucket list destinations to add to your list!

New York
As a kid, I dreamed of moving to New York and becoming a writer. While that dream has changed throughout the years, the beauty of the city has not. My personal goal is to visit this magical city in the wintertime. New York is always mesmerizing, but snow gives it true movie vibes. There is so much to do and see that it would take months (if not years) for me to explore everything I want.

Niagra Falls
Honestly, anything in Canada is on my bucket list. Even though this is technically in New York, I have always wanted to see this magnificent area that borders Canada. From here, I would love to travel deeper into areas like Buffalo, Clifton Hill, and Fort Erie (all in Canada). I am a girl who loves both the city and nature and Canada has both in beautiful harmony.

Paris, France
Unless you have been here, I guarantee this is on your list as well. This city is filled with fantastic architecture and history that leaves me drooling. Everything about France enchants my mind; from the food to the places to visit. I just want to eat gelato and walk down the vast streets that hold beauties like the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, and Notre-Dame de Paris.

Stockholm, Sweden
Honestly, I should just put Sweden as my bucket list destination. Since living in Little Sweden (Lindsborg, KS), I have learned more about this fascinating culture. With the internet, I have magnified my wanderlust for this area in more ways than one. The vast land is breathtaking and holds so much of my heart (and I haven't even seen it in person). Just look up a few pictures of this city, and you too will feel a longing to book a flight today.

Cairo, Egypt
Royal mummies, looming pyramids, and historical artifacts await you in this city. Cairo, to me, is a destination that needs no introduction. Egypt's history has always intrigued me and has inspired movies and monuments to this day. The Giza Pyramid Complex, Egyptian Museum, and Khan el-Khalili are just some of the destinations in this city that I would love to witness in person.

Let me know in the comments below some of the places around the world you have on your bucket list! While this is just a starting point to even more traveling, I always love finding new places to add to my ever-expanding list.
