Christmas Gift Guide For The Fashionista In Your Life

It's that time of the year again where we all have to think of gifts to get all the loved ones in our life. Technically, most of you have already done your shopping for the holidays coming up. However, for those of you that are always a little late to the game (like myself), I have decided to make a series of gift guides for those special someones in your life. To start the Christmas gift guide off, I've decided to compile the perfect presents for the fashionista in your life. These are the girls out there who love dressing up, window shopping, and making their style shine through.

For me, these are some of the most challenging people to shop for during this time of year. While you might know their style, you might not know what size to get them, if they will like it, or if they already have it. Since we don't want to play a guessing game when it comes to sizes, I have chosen relatively easy gifts that are perfect for any style and shape out there. Don't let your lack of fashion expertise keep you from purchasing that ultimate Christmas present.

If you are looking for other people in your life besides the style icon and cannot wait for my other articles to come out, I do have an ultimate Christmas Gift Guide from last year that still has fantastic ideas and presents to get all your loved ones.

A scarf is one of the safest forms of clothing you can buy when it comes to Christmas presents. I don't know anyone who doesn't have or wants a scarf in their wardrobe. It can add dimension to an outfit, keep you warm during the winter months, and be an accessory for the girl who doesn't care for jewelry. While I have a few options below, I would try to pay attention to what colors your friend, or family member wears each day. Doing this will give you a better idea of what color scarf to get them. You can also stick with neutral shades to stay safe (black, white, grey).

The options I picked below are great for keeping warm and are not too bold so that they can fit with almost any outfit thrown together.

No fashionista feels complete without her accessories. In my opinion, you really cannot go wrong when it comes to jewelry. Even if the person you are shopping for doesn't wear much, you can still find a quality watch or romantic necklace that they will fall in love with immediately. The great thing about jewelry is that you can get high-quality items for relatively inexpensive. However, if you are getting a gift for a loved one (and not just cousin #3), I would suggest getting something that they might not go out and buy themselves.

Don't know what they like? That is okay! To stay safe, I would go with elegant and minimal pieces. A silver necklace or bracelet will look beautiful and, if it isn't their style, can be stacked with other items in their collection. You can also reach for more sentimental pieces like the necklace I have below (or get a design with their name engraved). Besides knowing a ring size, this is an excellent option for anyone who doesn't know what size to get.

Shopping for this item is where you need to pay attention to whomever you are buying a gift for. A purse can be a girls life (I know mine is), and we sometimes have incredibly specific tastes when it comes to style and color. However, if you have an idea of what they will like, this can be one of the best gifts you get a fashionista. I know I don't spend much money on my handbags, so it is an incredible gift when someone splurges on one for me.

I have a few options below that are beautiful and vary in style, but again, try to gain as much information as possible on what they like.

A coat or jacket is one of the safer options when it comes to fashion. Since coats are usually not form-fitting, you can go up a size to be safe without it looking like a blanket on your loved one (although, you should still keep the receipt just in case). Being a coat girl myself, I know this is always a gift I will never hate. It is needed in the winter season and can add a new element to any outfit. I chose a couple baby pink coats that are fashionable, fantastic quality, and add a pop to anything you throw on.

If that is not their cup of tea, you can also go for the warm jacket I have picked out below. Being a fan of comfort and style, this is an excellent piece for anybody in your group of friends. It can be worn outside or around the house and has a leisure look that we all need in our lives.

For the fitness gal in your life, this is your one-stop shop. Trust me; no-one can have too many sports bras or yoga pants in their wardrobe. These options are fantastic quality and, unlike some brands, don't leave those harsh lines on the shoulders after a workout. I also love these options because they have a stylish side to them. While I'm not big into fitness, I do usually wear my workout clothes to get coffee and run errands after a gym session.

Since I'm running around in public, I like my workout gear to look decent while still being functional. Again, this is a safe gift since you can get neutral colors and, typically, only need to know a rough guess at their size (usually comes in small, medium, large, and so on).

Tell me in the comments below some gift ideas you have thought of for your style friend! Is there any specific item you liked in this article that you would love to see under the Christmas tree? You might have to send this article to your loved one as a little hint.
