The Graceful Klutz In The New Year

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope your holidays were joyous and your New Year's just as fantastic. With the new year, there are always certain things we plan on changing or improving. While I recently talked about my health and fitness resolutions, I thought I would also discuss what The Graceful Klutz has scheduled for 2019.

This past year was a lot of first in the blogging world for me. With my blog still considered a baby, I've learned so much to help improve the quality of content, aesthetic, and everything in between. While I still have every urge to continue on this path of education, I also want to change a few things. Throughout the year I have noticed specific topics not do as well and have had readers ask for particular pieces I have yet to write.

While I always want to write what I enjoy, I also want you to love it as well. I've already incorporated more fashion pieces into my blog, but I want to change things even more. This next year I want the conversation to get a little more personal. I try to write for everyone in mind, but I want to add more to our chats. For instance, many people don't know that I have PCOS. While I don't plan on going into detail about what this is in this article, I do want to create a series that covers different problems I have faced from PCOS.

I know this might not affect everyone, but I also know there are people out there suffering and don't know what to do or if they even have this condition. I also want to open up the conversation in my comments for people who suffer from all types of ailments. The more we can talk about it the less we feel alone. If there is a topic you are curious about, I encourage you always to email or comment! I'm more than happy to do research and find information for all of you.

This new year is also going to be the time I try my hand at photography. As most of you know, I use free stock photos for the majority of my articles. While I'll continue to do so, I want to incorporate my images as well. It's always been a dream of mine to learn more about photography and let you in even more to my life.

Through trial and error, I have found topics that I like to talk about and others that feel like a homework assignment. For instance, I've slowed down on my travel articles because, while I love traveling, I'm not an enormous fan or writing about it. I still plan on having this apart of my blog, but I would prefer to write more about health-related topics, beauty, and fashion.

If there is anything you would like to see from The Graceful Klutz, please feel free to leave comments below. I am always working towards a better website and, with your help, I feel like I can continue to grow and make this site a place for everyone to come and feel a little less alone in the world. I don't mean commenting with, “Your blog sucks,” but constructive criticism will never be thrown out.

I also want to mention that, while I have this place for you to visit, I also have an expansion on my Patreon. It is entirely free for you to utilize and you only have to pay if you want to. I use this platform to get even more personal with you and let you into my life and what it is like behind the scenes of The Graceful Klutz. Just like my blog, I would love to hear from you about what you would like to see from my Patreon. One day I plan on starting a podcast, but that might be a future dream instead of an immediate plan.

I cannot wait for what this new year brings. As always, I want to thank every one of you for following me and (hopefully) enjoying the nonsense that I throw onto this site. Without you, I would not be able to pursue my passion in life. I hope this year brings more friends into this klutz community and that we can share our experiences, triumphs, and struggles. After all, what is a blog without a group of friends that come together!
